  1. i have a file that was previously a avi (xvid) encoded file, i converted the file to a mpeg 2 (dvd format) using tmpgenc, i tried converting the file back again to avi (xvid) using virtualdub on a trial basis, however the resultant video has all lines on it. how can i create a clear avi file from a mpeg 2 source file.

    Lines, as in interlacing ?

I'll throw AutoGK up there along with AVI.NET.

  4. If you used VirtualDubMPEG2 try using VirtualDubMod instead.
