Tmpgenc DVD Author. Look at the list guides under it's entry in the tools section, or search the guides forum for more.

It is pretty straight forward to use, so you will probably work most of it out for yourself.

The DVD movies available here are different. On a dual layer disk, 5-6 movies are burnt. So, I just rip off the movies ie. vob files. When I load them in Tmpgenc DVD Author, it gives bad file error and does not load them. Is there any tweaking for it ?

When you just 'ripped off the vob files', did you use any process, or just grab the files in explorer ?

OK, running around in circles here with next to sweet FA as far as infomation goes. So .....

Rip the entire disc(s) in file mode to your hard drive. Then use TMPGEnc DVD Author, but instead of hitting the Add File button, use the Add DVD Video Button. This should then prompt you to nominate your first VIDEO_TS folder. Do so, then you will get a title selection screen. Select the title you want and it will import. Repeat for any other VIDEO_TS folders you have.

I'd suggest making a new track for each movie, as your menus will be a lot better structured then. Also when importing, you can retain the original chapter points by simply ticking the top box.
    If in doubt, Google it.
