How to use *.ac3?

I used to dvd2avi and save the project, but it has .ac3 as the sound. How can I use that in tmpgenc? If I can't how do I make dvd2avi produce a wave?

You have dvd2avi set to demux. If you want it to decode the audio set it to decode. (audio\dolby digital...)

TMPGenc cannot accept ac3 files. You could use azid to process the ac3 to wav if you want and then load it into TMPGenc. Many people also feel this produces higher quality audio than dvd2avi.
