Hello fellow rippers,
I'm new to this so I haven't figured it all out yet. I seem to be doing alright EXCEPT:
My end product after ripping from a DVD ends up with a video playback speed slightly faster than normal. After a short while, naturarly, I end up with audio that's delayed and no longer in synch. I think the video playback speed is probably 3 -5% faster than normal. I use:
SmartRipper, DVD2AVI and TMPGEnc-2.02.
I haven't gotten to burining into a VCD yet, still at the mpeg level. (I use a P4 1.6GHz system.)
Which one of these programs do you guys think might be the culprit? -- The DVD copier, frame server, or the encoder? Or could it be the PC. Is there a setting I might possibly be missing?
Anyone have any tips or ideas I should try?
Thanks very much!!
