    Hi Super Warrior;

    The Japanese language pack is already a part of XP with no new downloads req'd. Just go to START->CONTROL PANEL->REGIONAL AND LANGUAGE OPTIONS->LANGUAGES and check the two "supplemental language support boxes". You'll be prompted to insert your original system disk. After the files are loaded, you will need to restart your computer. If you don't want to install an "Input Method Editor" (IME) you're done. If you want to type in Japanese though, you have some more work. Next, follow the same sequence above but this time click on "Details" and add Japanese to the supported input languages. If you want to go farther and have service messages given in Japanese, you'll need to click on the Advanced tab instead of the details button and use Japanese as the selected default language. You can also default the keyboard entry to Japanese when you're adding Japanese to the allowable input languages.

    Good luck and all the best,
    Morse
