    Hi everybody!

    Could 'borax' help me?

Yesterday, after some fruitless attempts to make a home DVD with a motion menu with DVDStyler (everything was OK with PowerDVD on my PC, but failed in my standalone player), I moved to GUI for DVDAuthor, downloaded version .99, installed it and tried to make the same with this program. When I selected animated menus in the project settings, an error message popped up telling me that MPEGDecoder.dll Avisynth plugin was not found, though I browsed to my Avisynth plugins folder and could see it. You know, recently I installed AVSEditor (a GUI for Avisynth scripting easily) and have been working OK with it. What can be happening? Although this is my first attempt with G4DVDAuthor, I think I will stick to it (higher development degree, far more features and performance than DVDStyler).

Thanks and recognition to this great site.

  2. Sorry, I have no idea, why.
The used code is quite simple:
Query the key 'SOFTWARE\AviSynth\plugindir2_5' in the windows registry for the path and check if there is a file named 'MPEGDecoder.dll' in this path. Show a warning if not. You may ignore this warning, but it is quite 'unnerving'...
Could you just recheck the spelling?
