Hi,
I just picked up a 2910 manufacured in Oct. 2005. I tried the remote region hack found on this forum and had no luck. The links to the old firmware file are no longer valid. I should mention that the remote control hack changed some of my settings and greyed them out so I could not change them back umtil I disconnected the power and plugged back in.
I am wondering if Denon made some changes to the current firmware and what the solution is to get around it. The PAL Region 0 discs I have play back very nicely so it would be great to be able to play all my DVD's from other regions. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Best,
Gregg

My Denon 2200 won't convert Pal to NTSC, even though it can play PAL discs (need a PAL TV for the player to be used). Not sure if the 2910 has a convertor, it is a more advanced player.
