    Hi,

    I have a liteon 1105HC+

    When im recording or watching sky through my recorder, i get slight lag or blurring with the images, this doesnt happen all the time but every now and then, im using gold scart leads from my sky box to my recorder

    Does anyone have any ideas or has experienced this before

    Anyone know a work around??

    Are you sure that's not dropouts in the satellite signal? I'm assuming the receiver buffers a little, but if the signal drops out for a longer period, you could see effects like you describe. Digital video doesn't suffer much from fading, it just stops until the signal is received again. This usually just causes a pause in the video stream and the receiver keeps repeating the last frame until it gets refreshed. Then you may get a jump in the video that shows as a blur when it resumes. I'm just guessing, though.

    Hi, thanks to the reply and the welcome,

    I only have this happen when watching thru the DVD recorder, if i watch the same channel , with the dvd recorder off, just alowwing sky to bypass, its fine.

    So i can only assume is something to do with the recorder handling the signal from sky.
    it can alomst give a ghost like effect for a split second, especially on fast moving figures.

    Its not the end of the world, because its not al the time, but it is annoying tho when once you notice it, you find yourself looking out for it.
