Hi all Im using windows xp/nero 5xxx/tmpeng 2xxx/smartripper 2.41/dvd2avi. Now when I burn using exactly what sefy's guide says I play on my dvd player the vcd I have authored and I get a choppy/stuttering vcd I have authored in pal, and ntsc using nero and ive tried nti cd maker neither work what am i doing wrong????
The mpeg plays 100% fine before burning in nero.
Please help im going crazy.

Before you go crazy, can you tell me what did you do ? cause following a Guide to the "T" is not good, you need to use the guide as an Example! to guide you through.
I believe the reason you got choppy VCD is because you encoded a PAL or NTSC movie to a NTSC or PAL VCD, and that's why it is choppy.
