Trying to convert asf/wmv to avi/mov and got this message after failure:
success: format: 0 data: 0x0 - 0x259665bc
ASF file format detected.
Too many video packets in the buffer: (807 in 8397334 bytes).
Maybe you are playing a non-interleaved stream/file or the codec failed?
For AVI files, try to force non-interleaved mode with the -ni option.
Requested video codec family [wmv9dmo] (vfm=dmo) not available.
Enable it at compilation.
Requested video codec family [wmvdmo] (vfm=dmo) not available.
Enable it at compilation.
Cannot find codec matching selected -vo and video format 0x33564D57.
What are the codecs it asks for? Where would I get them to install?

this ussually comes up every so often.
Try the steps listed in the ffmepgx forum:
converting wmv using invert mapping, among others
if these don't work, you could try a "convert" using VLC,
getting VLC to re-stream ( dump) the file as an avi.
Also, Flip4mac's QT component cannot handle some WMV9
filetypes, due to DRM, so you may be S.O.L. on this if
the above two methods don't work...."Everyone has to learn, so that they can one day teach."

When I'm not here, Where can I be found?
