  1. Hi, am wondering if anyone has any recomendations for a program I am looking for. I am looking to take several dvds I own and combine clips from them onto one dvd, with menus and all...looking for a good solid program that is fairly user friendly to help me do this, Thanks!

Nothing will do this for you. However there are a few simple tools that you can use to pull it all together with the minum of fuss.

DVD Shrink in reauthor mode allows you to pick and choose which titles to include in a disc, and even which sections within a title. Just drag the title from the RHS to the LHS, then right-click and set the start and end points. Write the results to a HDD folder (option when you hit Backup). You will end up with a lot of small DVD structures containing your clips.

Tmpgenc DVD Author can then be used to open and include these clips, create menus and author the disc. The Add Video option is the one you need.

Shrink is free, tmpgenc DVD author has a 30 day demo.
