Alright, sorry if that wasn't a very clear title...or if this can be found somewhere on the site. I looked everywhere.

Here's the deal - I have a picture (JPEG to be exact) - What I want to create is a movie of a line appearing from place to place. Like a movie of a line being drawn from point A to point B.

I think this might be possible in Photoshop - I figured out how to make a path and have it drawn...but I want the movie to show the line being drawn - as if people are moving! I guess I could make an animation in Photoshop, drawing little segments of the line in each frame - but this seems tedious and I would think look choppy...?

That's the point of it all - I want to show movement on a map.

Thanks for any and all help!

Quite Easy if you are using a video editor program like adobe prem pro or similar.

Just imagine your map as the main image on screen, & then you have a layer (your photoshop red lined map from A - B.)(same map plus a line) Simply just use a page transition (like a left to right sweep) and your line magically draws itself across the page.

Same as moving from one scene to another in a movie. You notice that because they are usually 2 different scenes.

    Cheers from the Outback

There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.

    Carpe diem.

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.
