    I have a concert on DVD an want to rip only the ac3 stream every chapter so that I have 23 ac3 files.

    I guess you could rip each chapter one at a time with smartripper, which will create a whole bunch of very small VOBs. Then use DVD2AVI to extract (demux) the ac3 track from each one.
