Recode 2 - How to create ISO to burn later with VisionExpress?

I ran recode and it created a .nrg file and then ran vision express and loaded that file and tried to burn but got an error. What is the proper procedure for doing the ISO with recode2?

Wouldn't you go straight to Burning ROM after Recode, or am I missing something ?

Or are you purposely reauthoring a freshly transcoded DVD ?

I've got Nero OEM Suite that came with my burner. It only containes Nero Express and Nero Vision Express etc (and Recode). Nero Burning Rom is not included. When I chose Burn Disc from Image on the DVD smartstart frontend program, it opened Express but it was expecting a CDR not a DVDR. So I opened Vision Express, loaded the .nrg file created by Recode and tried to burn it but it gave an error.

In Nero Express, make sure that it is set to use your DVD burner where it says "Which recorder do you want to use?"

It doesn't matter if I open Express directly from smartstart or if I choose Burn image to disc from the DVD task lists, the program is only offering me the choice of my burner as a cdr/rw. I've got a BenQ DW1640 DVD Burner and even if I choose the DVD option when I first start Express, when you get inside and have the option to choose your target it only shows it as CDR/RW. You must have to use Vision Express for DVDs.

It might be a problem stemming from Recode then. For some reason Nero believes you should only need to use a CD - be it by design (what you chose as the output option/format in Recode) or by accident. It may even just be as simple as the size of the NRG file, but I doubt it.
