Hello, I have read on here that you can convert PAL to NTSC by using VOB BLanker. Specifically, by right-clicking the video, after it's loaded into the program, and selecting "attributes."
My problem is, can anyone tell me what frame rate I need to set it to in order to get true NTSC output?
I ask, because I ran it through VOB Blanker but GSpot still says it is in PAL format.
I am frustrated. Can anyone help ?????
Thanks!!!!
Chris

Which guide ?
NTSC would be either 23.976 or 29.976 fps. 23.976 is closest to PAL and is the better option. But you also have to change frame resolution, which requires encoding. I'm surprised that VobBlanker can do that.Read my blog here.

Well, I don't know for sure. I just read on here that you can use VOB Blanker to convert PAL to NTSC. I've been looking for a simple way to do that, because I'm not familiar with all the aspects of trying to do this.

Maybe you are talking about the patch method, wich uses IFOEDIT.
