    Hi everyone
I am working on a project for my class, is it possible to take a scenes from a few different dvds and put them onto one? If so Which software would I use to capture those specific scenes?

    Thank You

Yes. But that's not really capturing.

You must decompile the source discs. DVD Decrypter in IFO mode.

Demux streams. Commercial DVDs and even home-authored DVDs have too much crap in the VOBs that can bite you in the ass when you go back to re-author. TMPGEnc and MPEG TOOLS DEMUX and only demux audio and video streams, one each, and then go back and MUX them into a new file.

Edit footage in an MPEG editor, like VideoReDo or Womble MPEG VCR.

Do this over and over again until done.

    Author new DVD with clips.

Refer to lots of guides, post questions ONE BY ONE, ONE STEP AT A TIME if you have any. No more of this "help me do it all" kind of post. At least, if you want the most detailed advice.

Do not wait until midnight the night before it's due. Video takes time. It has a learning curve that can make school classes look like cake.

No, not capturing. Moving you to Editing, cutting and joining.
