  1. Hi,

I ripped a recent release with DVDdecrypter and tried to convert it with AutoGk (v2.26). I ran one of the ripped VOB's through Gspot and it gave a frame rate of 34.468 per second.

After AutoGk finished, it gave a warning saying something like the number of frames didn't match. The file was only about 65% as long as it should have been and the audio was missing.

Does anyone know if this is a problem related to the 34+ frame rate or is it related to some kind of newer protection that DVDdecrypter hadn't taken into account when it stopped updating?

    Thanks

  2. Further to the problem above. The error message I had got from AutoGk was the following:
"EXCEPTION: Number of frames is very different from expected. Found 114024 frames. "

I re-ripped the DVD, this time using DVDfab Decrypter (instead of DVDdecrypter). AutoGk then recoded it without any problems.

Since it had no problems with the 34+ fps, I'm guessing that the problem was likely caused by some type of newer protection that DVDdecrypter hadn't taken into account when it stopped issuing new releases.

DVDfab seems to have done a fine job.
