    Hi everyone:

The VirtualDub and VirtualDubMod installed in my PC have MP3 Codecs of up to 56kbps - 22,500Hz.

I am fix the audio of my AVI file and its audio codec is MP3, 44,100Hz - 128kbps. I want to keep this codec for my new AVI file.

Is there any ways I can add new audio codec like LAME to VirtualDub or VirtualDubMod in order to create a new AVI with MP3, 44,100Hz - 128kbps?

    Thanks

  2. Install the LAME ACM encoder.

    Hi

    Thank you for the info.

I downloaded and installed version 3.98. But VirtualDub does not show it as available codec. I opened VirtualDub, loaded my AVI file, chose Full Processing for Audio. When I clicked on Compression, LAME was not among the available choices. I even tried to locate it under MP3 (all formats), and LAME was still not found.

What do I have to do to make LAME show up in VirtualDub?

    Hi

    It's me again.

I incorrectly clicked on the .exe file, instead of the .inf file.

LAME is now installed in VirtualDub after I clicked on the LameACM.inf and selected Install.

    Thanks again.
