Guys/gals, I have an original DVD that has video songs on it. How can I transfer the songs on to a CD so that I can listen to them in my car????

Use dvdshrink to seperate each title , then vobedit to extract audio from each .
Dvddecrypter , you will need to search now for it , but can be used in ifo mode to seperate into individual clip's , vobedit to grab audio once more .
As for converting audio for cd :
You could open each clip in virtualmod , audio to full processing , then audio conversion , set to 44.1khz , then save as wav .
These can be burnt to cd , and played in most player's without issue .
Or convert to mp3 using besweet , or windows media player , or other program you like ... then burn to cd for mp3 player ... or upload to portable mp3 player device .
Very simple once you know how to use vobedit , and one or two ripping tool's for dvd's . -
DVD Audio Extractor is software to turn the sound track from a DVD into Wave or MP3 files that can then be burned as a music CD using for example Roxio or Nero.
I've used it myself and it works fine. Has a trial period that gives full functionality of teh program
In fact, it works so well I'll be buying once the trial runs out and using it as part of my process to turn my Records and cassettes into CDs. IE Play the record into a DVD recorder, Extract the sound, Burn CD, Erase the RW disk, do again.

or, you could use smartripper if each track is a separate chapter in the dvd then rip the audio to ac3 and use an ac3>wav conversion tool of sorts......only downfall is it's not a 1 step process, but it is a free way of doign it...
nevermind, just looked at the first tool that was linked to, and it appears to be on a 30 day trial...unless your planning on doing this on a rather regular basis though, you should be fine with just that....
