ASF to mpg-no sound?

I'm using TMPgec .12f to convert asf format to mpg or vcd format. the video is ok but there was no sound at all. I tried to convert asf with virtualdub-but it won't recognize it. I tried asftools to convert asf to avi, but it was the same result. Hope somebody can give me advice on this....
