I an new to AutoGK. I am using version 2.27. In the past I have written a avisynth script to edit out the commercials of my avi file. Using this file as an input to tmpgenc has always worked fine. I would now like to use a similar procedure and use this avs file as an input to AutoGK. But AutoGK will not take an avs file as an input. What are other people doing to accompilsh this? I would really liek to avoid having to use VirtualDub to write out a modified avi file (without the commercials).
Thanks
Steven

Well AutoGK is meant to be easy to use. Therefor it is not exactly flexible. What is wrong with using VirtualDub? That is what AutoGK would use anyway, you just need to calculate the bitrate, etc. yourself.

Well, I was hoping to use AutoGK to do the demuxing, encoding audio and video, and remuxing. I really did not want to do the steps separately. The only fancy thing I wanted to do was to edit out the commercials before I encoded everything. I guess AutoGK is not the right tool.
Thanks
Steven
