there is an update for registed users that enables VideoFX Transitions to work with Premier Pro. Click the Tech Support button on the canopus home page and go to Driver Downloads. You'll have to go through the registration / login process to access those updates. But it really doesnt work ...
you can try this:
1)firstly uninstall videofx so you start fresh.
2)go to this link - http://rapidshare.de/files/9223156/PrmVIDEOFX.rar.html (you could just copy and paste this link from here into your address bar when on internet and it will take you there).
3) Download the Free trial version (or you can purchase it - but I downloaded the trial version (lasts 30 days) just to be sure it would work.
4) This is an .rar file (i'm used to winzip) so if you are like me, you'll then have to download winrar - http://www.rarlab.com/index.htm this is the link to enable you to download a trial version of winrar. this will enable you to extract the files so you can open the prmvideofx.rar file.
5) ok, so once you are able to open the rapidshare file, you need to extract it, and copy it to: c:\programfiles\adobe\premierpro1.5\plugins and the en_US folder (i just copied and pasted the icon into this folder after having extracted the file).
6) now you can install videofx - when it gives you the option of where to store the file - don't just allow it to select c:\, you need to install it to the same folder as above (ie: premierpro1.5\plugins\en_US).
7) now you can open premier project and the videofx will be found in the Video transitions folder. It won't list all the effects when you apply an effect, you need to open the effects dialog box when you've applied the transition to then select the effect you desire (same as in the demo version).
but it doesnt really work completely also ...
see canopus forum = basic answer is , it doesnt work for Premiere Pro 2

note: the above is not warez -- it does not convert demo version into registered version or anything like that ...
it is just a file made available to canopus owners"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
Hollywood FX 6
it is a Pinnacle Systems product -- good luck for any support"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
Canopus is unlikely to support PPro 2 is what they are saying (unofficial)

Thank you very much, BJ-M. It's really work! I just put the "rapidshare file" in the Pre 2 plugin then it's working. It's lot of fun to have it work, thanks again.
About Holywood FX: I formaly used the Holywood FX 5.2 pro. Just copy the "host plugin file" to the Pre 2 plugin then it work. BUT the Holywood FX 6 was not working that way. If anyone know better, please let me know then. Thanks

Pinnacle is now owned by AVID -- arch enemy of Adobe ....
don't hold your breath is what they are saying ..."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
I knew about AVID adopted Pinnacle. I just see a new version of Liquid Edition 7 now have AVID at front. But I still hope there is the way for HFX 6 work with Pre 2 like Canopus FX does (Canopus Edius is enemy of Premiere too). And the most important thing is I still see "Host plugin folder" inside HFX 6, Is it made sense? IF ANYONE FIND THE WAY OUT THEN PLEASE SHARE IT TO THE ROOM.
