I am entirely new to ripping dvds, but have ripped about 10 in the last week. I've been playing with quality settings and getting some satisfactory results as I learn, but I can't seem to figure out how to make some of the motion smoother. A lot of the motion looks very rough or digitized, is there any easy way to fix this with gordian knot?
Thanks in advance.

nevermind. I figured it out. Selecting a deinterlacing option fixed the problem.
