    Hi,

    I'm trying to install Nero & but it says I cant until I install direct x 9.0b on my computer.

    I have tried going to microsoft.com even put on 9.0c but still nothing.

    I run windows XP.

    Anyone any ideas how I get this directx 9.0b and the best way to install it for making Nero 7 work??

    9c is backwards compatible, try using the latest version of nero

    You may want to check your xp update's .. and the version of dircetx9 already on the system .
    You dont mention having sp2 installed .

    There is an ms update regarding installer's that use script's that would fail for some unknown reason .

    Thank's to ms , I now have my expensive program's installing and running once more .
