Can somebody make a list of video/audio tools that don't need to be installed to use them on the PC? It would be better still if these were also included under the individual tools themselves in the 'Video Tools' section (www.videohelp.com/tools)
I'll start off with a few such proggies :
1. VirtualDub
2. Nandub
3. VirtualDubMod
4. ffmpeggui (Hope you get the idea now!)

Yeah thanx! Huge list!
Hope more users contribute to such causes!
It'd be plenty useful if this information is flashed in the 'Video Tools' section as well, under the specific apps
EDIT : AFAIK, VLC is not stand-alone - it needs to be installed!(Atleast, the newer versions!)

Yeah, could be. A lot of my apps haven't been updated for quite a while. If it works, hey...you know the rest. I still use DVDRebuilder 0.52 most of the time, and it has no installer either. (Although I do keep a current version as well).
Pull! Bang! Darn!
