  1. I put my vcd mpeg into nero and it said i had to re encode it so i did. Then I went to burn it and it says encoding error. Did I do something wrong? I followed the instructions on the site.

DONT USE NERO TO ENCODE... it sucks on encoding...

Use TMPEGnc instead. Look to the left under tools...

Then follow a HOW TO guide...

    Nope, you did not..

Goto "LOAD" and load a template. (VCD,SVCD whatever u NEED)

After it encodes the MPEG, you should be able to burn with NERO. If it still tells you to let NERO encode it again, just uncheck the COMPLIANT (S)VCD box, and burn ayways. But first, check the DVD player list to ensure that you DVD player will even support VCD or SVCD on CD-R(W).

Best advice is to follow Sefy's guide under how to "DVD RIP"
