I bought a new ASUS dvd multi recorder, i tried to copy a dvd video disc thru nero and it worked. but when i tried to copy my files , big files so i have to used dvd, at the windows xplorer, copy the file and paste it to drive H (dvd writer), then write files, it says cannot write, insert a writable cd. i used dvd rw, dvd + n dvd -, but still looking for a cd. when i tried to insert a cdr, it says, space is not enough which means it was able to read a blank cdr, but cant read a blank dvd r, y is dat so.thanks

You have a LOT of reading to do if you are copying a factory pressed "movie" DVD.

Probably the packet writing software (the kind that lets you drag/drop files to a recordable media) you've got, only supports CD-R. IMO, packet writing shouldn't be used at all, since it seems to cause all kinds of trouble for "real" CD/DVD burner applications. Turn it off, write the data to the DVD "as usual" - Thru Nero it seems, in your case.

i am just copying a big, an application actually, n if i just copy n paste sa windows xplorer, its easier. but when i try to copy it thru nero sa data, di pwde ung buong icon lang, it open all d files n have to open evrything n add files, mas complicated.

You need to either use formatted DVDRW to copy and paste with explorer, or you may select make data DVD in Nero using DVD +/- R discs.
