Thanx a lot to everyone at VCDHelp.com. I've learnt a great deal from the site and got my first VCD done in a matter of hours - and it plays great on my DVD. I think that this site is one of the few left that keeps on with the real spirit of what internet and audiovisual technology should be: a field for experimenting, sharing ideas and putting these into good use. I've been making my VCD's from silent and early argentinian tango movies and clips, and have been experimenting with the different programs/codecs. 70 or more years ago, John Baird managed to record onto 78 RPM shellac discs video signals from the early Beeb telecasts. Now, 2002, we do the same (kind of) on CDRs.
If a net site gets you into investigating and learning something new, then it's worth all the support.
A great and peaceful 2002 for you all.
