  1. Here's another HC guide.

    http://www.doom9.org/mpg/hc.htm

    The main difference between it and you is that you're using an AVI for a source. So, after installing AviSynth, you open the AVI in FitCD and use the script it gives you. You create a text file, but rename the extension to .avs. Maybe name it "Movie.avs". Inside will be the script FitCD gives you. You follow FulciLives' guide to FitCD farther up the page.

    By the way, make sure you add this as your last line:

    ConvertToYV12()

    if you're using HC.

    Test the script in VDub(Mod) before trying to open it in HC. Open the script in VDub(Mod) just as you would an AVI. If there's an error, post both the script and the error message here. Scroll around and see if it looks OK. Then open it in the HC encoder and take it from there.

    any suggestions pls?

    Maybe switch your hobby from video encoding to stamp collecting?

    Thanks FulciLives, I have tried your guide and it walked me right through, This helps me to understand a bit more about working with encoders using avs files, Guns1 has given me a lot of help on this subject, And I am thankful to the both of you for sharing your skill , FitCd and its scripts help me to see and learn, the more simple scripts, and how they look. Now for a little more practice......
