Hello all! First of all I will take any ideas at all on what could solve my problem
I have a Winfast TV2000 Expert card. I have a strange audio problem with it. When I am recording off my VCR, I have the headphones on and the sound seems fine and I mute the headphones while recording. The finished video file has an intermittent 'tick'. It varies at times when it does tick but it is definately noticeable when watching the recorded DVD on TV. Sometimes it is a few times a minute, maybe sometimes once or twice every 30 seconds and the thing that has stumped me is it only happens on the right channel
My system is a Pentium 4 1.8G, Yamaha Xwave PCI (Also tried onboard sound and still ticks), 512M ram, 64M DDR Geforce 4 AGP card and Windows XP pro license.
I am using the Winfast PVR program for the recording because I find it the best one to use.
I will take any advise! Thank you.

Does this happen with other source input?
Does the "tick" blank out the audio or is the audio audible "underneath" the tick?
Have you tried just recording audio, no video, using a different program, both from the same source and other sources?
