    Hi all,

    As the thread subject suggests, I always have a transparent bar about 2cm wide running vertically down the centre of the screen whenever I use my DVD player (Starlogic DVD-868V50). This also occurs whenever I use my Xbox.

    Can anyone help as it's becoming rather irritating?

    Transparent - how? Black? Or do you suddenly see the innards of your TV?

    Very glib :P

    Transparent in the sense that you can see a faint bar in the background. I can't really describe it any better than that.
