Here is my problem. I have a mpeg 2 file that plays perfectly, both audio and video, however, I only need a portion of the file. I used TMPGEnc 2.5 plus to cut and save the mpeg portion I wanted to save. Here is the rub: the video is fine but there is no sound on playback. Can anyone help me recover the audio? There must have been some setting I have neglected and I don't know what it is. Any information is appreciated.
