  1. I use Nero 7, StartSmart, trying to burn a DVD and it works, it burns in Nero Express, but when I try to play it in my dvd-player the disc is blank? (maybe it's the same thing as coasters? I don't know, I'm swedish)

It worked the first time, but now something isn't quite right.
I mean, it appears as though Nero is burning the disc without any problem but in fact it doesn't and the disc is blank?

I think it's some kind of trial version (my cousin got it for me), although I don't get a message saying the trial has expired or anything.

    Anyone got any clues?
    Thanks.

Does it play in your computer's drive with DVD player software? Try it with WinDVD or some such and see if that works - if so, it may be your player cannot read this particular disc.

Post back with your results and more info, please!

  3. No, my player has no problem with the disc since I've burned same discs before without problem.

As said, it appears as though Nero Express is burning the disc, but actually it is blank.
I mount it with Daemon, and then burn it with Nero 7, Express, and somewhere along the line it goes wrong, although I don't know where.
I suspect it's because I have some sort of trial-version, but still, it should work more than one time.

    any ideas?

Check the burn radial box on the last window you see before the burn process begins.
