source: dish network receiver svideo out
view on: crt tv 32 in. via svideo from pc
    wintv pvr 150 compression setting: dvd standard @ 6.5mbps/svcd @ 2.5mbps

dish network video compression does have some ghosting, but upon going thru the wintv pvr150 the video gets abit more ghosted... it looks like some kinda compression scheme.... anyone notice this?

(it kinda looks like the processing on noise reduction in ffdshow, temporal smoothing)

  3. The WinTV2000 software displays with a blend deinterlace by default. This will look ghosted whenever there is motion on the screen.

The saved MPEG file is not deinterlaced. If you burn it properly on a DVD it will play fine on TV.
