I recently encountered a few movies (e.g., Magnolia and Titanic) which I can't process the .wav file extracted by DVD2AVI. I get the message "An error occured when audio is decoded." At first I thought I had accidently selected the DTS track but this seems not the case (judging by the bit 192kbps rate). I tried play the .wav file using Windows Media Player (even from another computer via a network connection) and got the message "The buffer is not big enough"
Anybody know what's going on?

you sure it's not a mpa file?
try to play it in WinAmp - it might have extracted it as mpeg audio -- you would then have to convert it to wav
give that a try -- if it does play in WinAmp double click on the info screen and it will tell you what type of file it is. -

It won't play in WinAmp. File info box says its a PCM format, the same as it says for extracted .wav I can play. Humm. -
try extracting the .wav again w/ the following settings on dvd2avi->audio section
channel format->auto select
dolby digital->decode
MPEG audio->demux
if these r the settings u use...then try not down sampling or normalizing and see if you encounter the same problem...
also, try selecting another track to extract the .wav from...
