Just got my refill kit for the JWLSales CIS kit. All that it is, is 6 bottles of ink. How do I get the ink into the reseviors? What tricks did any of you use?

I went to a local pharmacy and bought small syringes of about 30ml. Then fill up the syringe and tilt the CIS so that the ink is away from the refill hole. Then just add the ink. You also could use a very small funnel. I bought 2 syringes and fill up 2 colors at a time, then clean them both and let them air dry over night then refill 2 more. Good Luck

Do you happen to know what order the colors are in (from left to right) on the CIS resivoir? I can't seem to find my epson manual to check

Also, the 1st one (from left seems to be the Yellow, but the Yellow that came with my refill seems 100x yellower than what is in the resivoir currently.

Here is the color set I got http://cgi.ebay.com/6-color-Pigment-ink-set-refill-for-bulk-system_W0QQitemZ5830118424...QQcmdZViewItem

On the back of the CIS is a small sticker that shows each color for each container. Yes the refills look darker than the real color...When I get back home I can check the colors, but that will be in 10 hours....

I recently bought the refill ink from JWL after a shipping problem(ink leaked everywhere) I finally got all my ink. I just went and added my refill yellow to the remaining yellow in the tank and to my dismay the inks seem to be totally different. The new yellow has turned an orange tint when add to the old yellow? Did I just totally ruin this CIS Kit now? Nowhere on the JWL site did it say that I had to somehow completely clean out the carts & tank of previous ink? This totally sucks I also bought this ink http://cgi.ebay.com/6-color-Pigment-ink-set-refill-for-bulk-system_W0QQitemZ5830118424...QQcmdZViewItem

Well if the first set of ink was not pigment ink, that might be a problem...

You might want to look at getting refillable cartridges. Sorry about your current setup. I think when my CIS finally bit's the dust. I will go with the cartridges. Alittle more hassle to fill, but I'm not printing as much as I use to.

Who makes a good cartridge system? Are refillable carts cheaper than CIS?

I just bought my 2nd JWL (accidently mixed dye ink with pigment ink in the 1st set) I had the original running for over 2years hassele free, if not for my own fault I would still be using my 2year old JWLSales CFS kit. THe 2nd now is just as good as the first, plus it comes with easy refill wells.

Pigment ink is used more for high quality photo prints and is thicker than Dye ink. If you look at Dye ink its transparent where Pigment ink is not as it thicker. Alomst like a watered down paint...
