I've been searching for a web resource where I can download (for free or minimal cost) nice DVD menu backgrounds. Does anyone know of any?
The DVD I am making is my son's "1st Year" video. I was going to put a picture of him as the background but the chapter thumbnails cover too much of the background and it looked like awful. So for now I ended up making my own 720x480 image in Photoshop. I created a simple blue background, added a lighting effect to give it that graduated blue color look, and added some rendered lens flare here and there.
All in all it looks OK, but I'm looking for something nicer, perhaps a theme. The problem is that I'm not that creative to make one myself.

Remember you don't have to use the whole picture of your son, just use a piece of it in conjunction with a generic image (like graduated blue background).
