  1. I'm trying ConvertXtoDVd out and it looks really good.
But i added 2 avi's (to make one movie) and it made chapters for the first avi then the second. eg 5 then 5
how do i make it add chapters from start to finish eg 1 to 10
do i have to join avi's before i put them in ConvertXtoDVD? would this cause sync issues?

  2. I joined the AVI's with virtual dub and got sync issues on the second half of movie.
So i think best option is to just add the 2 avis straight to ConvertXtoDVD but dunno if i can get chapters in sequence from start to finish.
    Does anyone know?

Each file will be a seperate title, but you can always just import the two titles into authoring software that supports authored DVD material (TMPGEnc DVD Author does, and I'm sure a few others would too), add both titles to the one track and your chapters should "merge" so to speak.
    If in doubt, Google it.

(forum searched for "tmpgenc dvd author divxtodvd error" )

I have received this error message from time to time. I don't know what causes it, but the fix I've always used has been to get rid of all the IFOs and BUPs that DivxToDVD / convertxtodvd creates (just leaving the VOBs), then renaming the VOB set(s) to VTS_01_* (obviously if I have multiple VTS's I need to copy them to seperate directories) and recreating the IFOs using http://members.dodo.net.au/~jimmalenko/test.htm#ifoedit . I then import each VIDEO_TS folder and they import fine after that.
    If in doubt, Google it.
