I am looking for a stand alone tool (ie, no install) that will return information about a DVD such as copy protection type, region code, video length, and bitrates.

I know that various tools such as AnyDVD and DVD Decrypter can get this information, but I am looking for a tool that does not require installation. I searched through most of the tools on this site, but I could not find such a tool. If you know of one, can you please post its name and if possible, where I can get it?

DvdInfo doesnt really need an install - just use the exe file

    Thank you for the reply.

I haven't used DVDInfo, but from the website, description, and screenshot, it looks like this tool only displays information on DVD media and DVD drives. I am looking for information about the content of the DVD. I'm not able to verify this because the only downloads on the site appear to be installation files. I did download a zip file from the official site, but inside of it was an install file.

Do you or anyone else have another suggestion?

As I said in my original post, I'm looking for a tool with no install.

You probably shouldn't be inserting unauthorized media into the system then.

I am not restricted from playing DVDs on the computer, so they are not "unauthorized media".

Does anyone have a tool suggestion?
