    I'm using ffdshow with some denoise, limitedsharpenfaster, lanczos4 resize to 1280x720 for my lcd projector. It's not a huge different but I must use my processor for something....

    I dont use ffdshow b/c my HTPC is connected to a SDTV. Once I get a HDTV I will be all over ffdshow

    oh, and I cant use ffdshow w/ the MCE interface anyway, I wish there was a fix for this.

    Not really in a position to comment on this subject but i am researching this whole HTPC/HD to HDTV thing.... I recently read this: http://firingsquad.com/hardware/building_high_definition_home_theater_pc_htpc/page2.asp and was wondering if this is the way forward... I.e the PureVideo thing in hardware verses filters in software? Or am i miles of the mark?
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.
