    Hi!

I want to buy a motherboard P5VD1-X, which I don't think that supports DDR2 technology.

I want to use it with video board GeForce 6500, which is DDR2. Is it related to computer memory? Will it work in my motherboard?

    Thanks in advance!
    Best regards,
    Joelson.

Note that the PCI-E slot is only a 4x slot on this board and only accepts a limited number (15 at present) graphics cards to be used in it. Hopefully your 6500 is an AGP card because the 6500 PCI-E is not supported by this reduced x16 slotted board.

The video cards RAM is not being connected directly to the Motherboard.

You can even use a video card with ddr2, if the video cards interface is compatible with your motherboard ( i.e. AGP 2x. 4x. or 8x or PCI-E 16x).
    snappy phrase

    I don't know what you're talking about.

You may consider getting a ASRock 775Dual-880Pro. Same PCIe liminatations but also supports DDR2.
