I have tried tons of different methods of burning this movie. DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink 3.1, CloneDVD2, AnyDVD, DVDFab Decrypter. None of these seem to be able to copy this dvd.

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks.

Very well could be the problem.

I guess I've been lucky with DVD discs as I've never run into this problem but I remember having a CD once where I couldn't rip this particular track on it ... I returned the CD and got a replacement ... the replacement ripped all tracks with no trouble. The original played fine (including the track I couldn't rip) and had no visable defect on it that I could see.

You might want to try giving the DVD disc a really good cleaning then try again.

It would also help if you told us what kind of "errors" you are getting with the various ripping programs.

  4. Yeah, if you don't give out any info, we can't help beyond the most general answers. Here's a suggestion for you though, install DVD43 (version 3.70) and follow instructions. Then just use DVDDecrypter and/or Shrink and it should work unless my answer above is the right one. Nyah Levi

  5. if dvd fab decrypter can't do it, it's gotta be the disc itself (as long as you have an updated version of it, anyhow) the guys that make that particular program keep ontop of things pretty good, and have any issues that there could be with a dvd worked out within a few days or so, and that dvd is more than a few days old now

Visit your local video rental shop and pick it up in the pre-viewed dvd section. It's available for $11.99 at our local store.

  7. or just take it back to wherever you bought it from with the reciept and tell em it's a defective disc, because provided your programs are all up to date, you oughtta be able to tear clear through that...
