I am not new to DVD authoring, I have made many DVD's and don't usually run into any problems. This one, I cant figure out though....I have a bunch of epsiodes that I want to burn to a DVD. All are 715mb I have burned all thirteen to DVD (2 per disc with one on the 7th DVD) and watched them all. On about half of them there are major audio sync problems. They start out fine and then about half-way in, gets progressively worse until it's about 3 seconds off by the end. All source files have no sync problems at all. What could be causing this? Especially when some of them are fine and others are not. I have tried re-burning some of them but I just get the same problem with episodes that were in sync the first time. Any help you can give would be much appreciated. THX

Here is the GSpot info on the files

HOW do you convert them? which tool(s)?

i think divxtodvd would be best, it doesn't reencode the ac3 audio.

and this is a converting problem, not authoring. moving you.

opps! sorry about the posting error.

I am using Nero 6.6 Ultra. I know many people on here don't like Nero but I have had the greatest success with compatibilty and quality using Nero and its DVD-Video encoder.

    Does Nero re-encode the ac3?

Almost all conversion sync errors (assuming the originals are fine) are the result of the tool doing the conversion. Changing tools and/or your conversion process will correct the issue.
