    Hey all,

This is probably a newbie sort of question, but here goes ...

I have Womble's MPEG Video Wizard and I find that it is quite easy to use to edit video! I then export the finished product to a folder on my hard drive as an MPEG video file.

What I need is this ... A free program that will transform that MPEG video file into a Video_TS folder (with a menu), so that I can burn it to a DVD-R.

    PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks.

https://www.videohelp.com/tools?listuser=&orderby=Type&s=2#2 ordered by free tools. Most free dvd authoring apps requires that you demultiplex the mpeg to video and audio streams(use for example tmpgenc->mpeg tools).

Or upgrade to mpeg video wizard dvd.

So, there isn't a "newbie-friendly" program out there (to add a menu and output to Video_TS) that is free??

Unfortunately, my 30 days of TDA are up! Anything else (that is free)?

  6. As Baldrick has already mentioned, all free authoring programs with menu creation are based on dvdauthor. These are:
    DVDAuthorgui Guide: https://www.videohelp.com/~liquid217/dvdauthorgui.pl?p=guide1
    DVDStyler Guide: http://dvdstyler.sourceforge.net/docs/DVDStylerGuide.pdf
    GUI for dvdauthor Guide: https://www.videohelp.com/~gfd/Help/GettingStarted.html

IMHO all are quite easy to use... But I believe, you will have to demultiplex your videos from Womble, as Womble will probably not create a dvdauthor compatible mpeg file.
