    Hi,
I have an avi file 700mg in size. I have tried to convert to DVD with WinAVI and there have been no problems except for it only converts up to a certain point of the file (I am using a registered verion of the program). It creates the 1 VOB file fine, and the 2nd one, it's only like 2 seconds long which is only half the file. Does anyone have any suggestions or can help in any way? Thanks in advance.

My first suggestion would be not to use WinAVI

Maybe try ConvertXToDVD's old free version, DivxToDVD ?

Or give us a GSpot of your source file ? (I'm guessing possibly VBR MP3 audio)
    If in doubt, Google it.

Thanks for that suggestion, worked like a dream. Any idea why it wouldn't work in WinAVI??

Probably because WinAVI isn't a very good program would be my first guess. Or jimmalenko may have hit it with 'MP3 VBR audio'. DivxToDVD doesn't always handle that either, but seems to more often than WinAVI.
