Would you want to know if the end of the world was coming?

So if the end of the world was coming and some government/scientific agency new precisely when a meteor or something was coming would you want to know?

If it was less than a day would you want to know? If it was weeks away would it make it easier? What would you do? Would it be better if it was like MEN IN BLACK where they don't tell us we're being threatend by superior aliens or like STARGATE when they suppress information?

Would global panick be worse than being blissfully unaware?

The end is coming for all of us, and that is for sure. It is coming for us one by one or it is coming for us all at once, but the one thing that is certain, it will happen once and for all.



Going in my sleep and never seeing it coming, would probably be the best.

Going down fighting for even the slightest chance would be the noblest.

Going down crying like a baby is probably how it would happen if I knew it was coming.

And none of it will matter once it happens.

The Mayan calendar says 2012. I would want to know. Would make me feel better than if it would just happen. But, of course, it wouldn't matter after that anymore.

The end of the world has came several times already (at least this is what some have said).

In 1033, Europe enter on a crisis because of after 1000 years of the death of Christ the end was near. Carlo Magno was unburied because people though he was going to help Jesus fighting evil. Time passed and they had to bury him again.

In XIV Century the pest was consider the announcement of the end o the times.

In US at the time of the independence George III was considered to be the antichrist.

Napoleon was considered to be another antichrist.

During all world wars I and II people recalled that that it was the Armageddon time.

During the cold war, people related some biblical readings with the atomic bombs and with the end of the world.

Let’s not forget year 2000…

Probably by 2033, some people will believe that the end is near once again.

Even Homer Simpson predicted the end of times

By the way, maybe the Mayan did not go further than 2012 just because they ran out of rock space...
