    i have the sony m2 and it records in mpeg 4. i was wondering if there was a way to import it onto adobe premiere pro. i have so video of me and my friends snowboarding that i wish to edit. any way i can import it? thanks in advance

    You can always decompress it first, then import as raw YUV and audio.

    Another way would be to convert it to DV AVI (the format that Premiere likes the most).

    I don't know, but maybe VirtualDubMod can open MP4? If so, download and install the Panasonic DV Codec (if you don't have it already) and save out to DV AVI using that.

    is it a mp4 file? or avi?? or mov?

    if mp4 or mov try MP4Cam2AVI and then try import it in premiere.

    and doesn't the camera come with some tools where you can convert to other video formats?
