Well I guess if you could rip the DVD in some sort of stream rip mode to extract just the audio then convert that to Mp3 and use an Mp3 cutter to divide it up into files. I don't have the exact names of tools handy though.

  3. DVD Audio Extractor form the tools section here worked for me. Extract to MP3 or Wave files for example, Then I burned as Audio CD.

has a fully functional trial version.

  5. Actually if you choose custom settings on step 2 of 4, then disable VBR, then you can choose a constant bitrate of 32 to 320kbps which will affect size. Also Algorithim quality speed vs quality. Hope this helps.

Also you could use wma and it puts out a lot smaller file size. Or Mp3pro.

  8. yup, when I stumbled on that little gem and found that it just worked. One program to get to mp3 or wave and have the sound track ready to burn into a Audio Cd, great.

I plan to buy it and hook my turntable through the receiver to a DVD recorder as a simple way to get vinyl to CD using that program. I have a huge record library all the way from single sided 78 RPM to Ep, 45's and 10" and 12" LPs to convert.
