I've tried playingback DVD's on my computer with PowerDVD 4 and WinDVD 3.1 and with both programs, the sound is staticy and warbly. It seems to studder and drop out too. It seems that is only started doing this after I got my new video card (Nvidia GeForce 2). Anybody know how to fix this, what I should do, or why this is happening?

I have the same freaking problem. I don't know what happened, it just started today. Divx's will play fine, but svcds and vcds will have this warbling noise when its playing a movie, in any program. I'm getting ready to format this sucker today, i'm pissed off. I think its a codec problem
