  1. I have .vob files that I want to edit at the begining and at the end (about 1 to seconds worth). I have tried this using programs that MAKE you convert to I believe MP2 (I may be wrong here) then you can easily cut out what is not needed. My problem is that when it is converted back i have sync problems.
Does anyone know a program where I can edit without converting? (edit while the file remains a .vob file)

Thanks so much for the help,
    George

  2. Some DVD authoring programs allow you to bring in vob's so you can edit the in and out points, also change the chapter points.
TmpgDVD author, Ulead DVD apps and others will do this easily.

  3. Will these apps have to recode the new .vob file? My files are about 4 minutes long. i just want to cut out the 1 to 2 seconds off of the firont and back. Will this take another 4 minutes per file to recode?

VideoReDo Plus performs frame-accurate editing directly on vob's, and only re-encodes at the cut points. It also corrects any sync problems in your video.

Check the guide's section and you will find my guide on commercial removal for free .

It's acurate ... but if you have any audio issue's at the start , you must fix them first .

Though this might not be an issue , it is worth considering .
